DAY 1
Arrival in Entebbe – Welcome to Uganda!
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you’ll be warmly welcomed by our representative and transferred to your hotel in Entebbe for a relaxing evening after your flight.

DAY 2
Entebbe – Bwindi Impenetrable National Park (Northern Sector)
After an early breakfast, depart for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and sanctuary to the endangered mountain gorillas. Your journey to the southwestern region of Uganda will take you across the equator (perfect for a quick photo stop), through Masaka and Mbarara—capital of the Ankole region famous for its majestic longhorn cattle—and past the picturesque highlands, often referred to as the “Switzerland of Africa.”

DAY 3
Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
After an early breakfast, transfer to the Bwindi park headquarters for a pre-trek briefing by expert local rangers. You’ll then begin your once-in-a-lifetime trek into the misty rainforest in search of one of the habituated gorilla families.
Trekking can last between 1 to 8 hours and may involve ascending to altitudes over 2,500 meters. While physically demanding, the trek is deeply rewarding—and the moment you come face-to-face with a gentle silverback or playful baby gorilla is simply magical.
Important Gorilla Trekking Info:
Each gorilla group can be visited by a maximum of 8 people per day.
Visits last strictly 1 hour to minimize disturbance.
Sectors:
Northern: Buhoma (5 groups), Ruhija (4 groups)
Recommended Gear: Raincoat, hiking boots, long pants, long-sleeved shirt, gaiters or high socks, hat, sunscreen, insect repellent, fleece or light jacket for the cool mornings, and enough drinking water (provided by your guide).

DAY 4
Bwindi – Entebbe & Departure
After breakfast, you will transfer back to Entebbe by road (approx. 10 hours), stopping for lunch and scenic breaks along the way—including the equator crossing. You’ll arrive in time for your evening international departure flight.
Optional Flight Transfer:
For those trekking in Buhoma or Ruhija sectors, a morning transfer (1.5–2 hrs) by 4x4 vehicle to Kihihi airstrip is available for your scheduled domestic flight to Entebbe. Flight options typically include:
